Risks of working with an unlicensed “locksmith”
When someone offers locksmithing services without having a license it is often for one of two reasons:
They have a past criminal record and cannot get a license as a result.
They don’t want to spend the time and money to go to school for the trade.
As you can imagine, that is a serious problem. You may be opening your business to bad actors, or worse.
Make sure that the locksmith you work with is licensed and insured to operate!
